Tapas Acupressure Technique


The Tapas Acupressure Technique or TAT is one of the most graceful ways in which we can release and transform stress, destructive thought patterns, anxieties, phobias, traumatic memories and any of the various negative emotions that are part and parcel of the human condition. During the TAT process we are eased into a state of peace, no longer burdened by our troublesome experiences. We are enabled to see ourselves and our situation in a different light, and open up to the possibilities of a new way forward. It is a deeply transformative process.

What does it involve?

TAT combines light placement of one’s fingers on specific acupressure points on the face and back of the head while putting one’s attention on particular statements. In so doing we allow the body-mind to naturally and gracefully release what is causing the distress, overwhelm or anxiety.

One of the blessings of TAT is that the healing and processing of traumas does not require the revisiting of painful events. Another gift is that we can learn to use TAT for ourselves at home.
